- About me
I didn’t choose the mountains.
I grew up in them.
They became part of who I am, how I see the world, and how I understand myself.
Real Freedom
I was born in Mérida, Venezuela, surrounded by the Andes.
Some of my earliest memories are of being outdoors, exploring remote places with my father. He showed me a world beyond cities—a world where nature teaches you patience, humility, and respect.
At first, it was simply curiosity. Then it became passion. Eventually, it became my way of life.
Over time, the mountains became more than a place I visited. They became home.
For more than 30 years, I’ve explored mountains across five continents.
I’ve climbed in the Himalayas, the Andes, the Alps, Alaska, and many other places that most people only see in photos.
Mountains like Manaslu, Denali, Aconcagua, and Mont Blanc were not just achievements. They were moments of growth, perspective, and transformation.
Each one taught me to stay calm, trust myself, and respect the process.
But most importantly, they taught me that the most meaningful experiences are the ones we share.
Today, what matters most to me is helping others discover their own connection with the outdoors.
